Our Story

Founded by mother-daughter duo Jennie Allegretta and Patty Porter, Porch & Palette was born from a shared love of design, creativity, and the warmth that comes from a thoughtfully decorated home.

Jennie is a Certified Home Stager and Redesigner through Home Staging Resources and has spent the past decade as a lead designer and home stager, flipping nearly 100 properties across Connecticut. Her experience spans from investment properties and short-term rentals to full-scale residential redesigns and new builds. She brings a refined eye for color, pattern, and palette—believing that a home should reflect personality and bring joy and comfort.

Patty, living in New Hampshire, shares that same creative spirit. Despite the distance, holidays and décor have always kept them close. Whether planning menus over long phone calls or decorating porches together each fall, their shared traditions have grown into something bigger—a way to help others capture that same feeling of warmth, comfort, and connection through seasonal design.

Together, Jennie and Patty bring passion, detail, and joy to every project. Porch + Palette specializes in creating seasonal entryways that feel both elevated and welcoming, with a focus on thoughtful palettes, textures, and details that make coming home something to look forward to—no matter what the day holds.
